Bree is a leading expert in complex, high-value commercial disputes, with more than 20 years’ experience as a commercial litigator and insolvency specialist. She heads the Aviation Disputes practice at Alius Law, widely recognised as a market-leading firm acting for owners and lessors of commercial aircraft.
Bree has been involved in many of the most significant aviation disputes in recent years, consistently securing successful outcomes for owners and lessors. She is recognised for her strategic oversight, strong negotiation skills and exceptional track record in resolving complex disputes, both through litigation and negotiated settlement.
Her practice focuses on the full spectrum of contentious aviation matters, including rent claims, aircraft arrest and repossession, fleet sale disputes, insurance claims, maintenance reserve disputes, engine maintenance disputes and aircraft return condition claims. She also advises on force majeure issues, UK sanctions and cross-border supply chain disputes, and regularly acts in confidential LCIA and ICC arbitrations.
Bree is a trusted advisor to some of the largest aircraft leasing companies in the world, valued for her deep industry knowledge, commercial insight and strategic approach to high-stakes disputes. She is a regular contributor to industry journals and publications and frequently speaks at conferences across the aviation and arbitration sectors.
