COMPLAINTS PROCEDURES
Alius Law is committed to providing a high quality of service in all respects, however, if at any point you have queries or concerns about any aspect of your matter (including a bill) then please do not hesitate to contact the Partner working on your matter. We will do our best to resolve any problems within a reasonable time frame. Making a complaint will not affect how we handle your case.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint ourselves, the Legal Ombudsman can look at your complaint independently. Before commencing an investigation, the Legal Ombudsman will check that you have tried to resolve your complaint with us first. The Legal Ombudsman expects complaints to be made to them within one year of the date of the act or omission about which you are concerned or within one year of you realising there was a concern. You must also refer your concerns to the Legal Ombudsman within six months of our final response to you. For more information you can contact the Legal Ombudsman: www.legalombudsman.org.uk.
The Solicitors Regulation Authority is the professional regulator of Alius Law and handles any complaints relating to professional misconduct. For more information you can visit their website at: www.sra.org.uk.
